This site is currently inactive as I have decided to move away from exclusively trading Forex in 2010 and as such will not be taking on new coaching clients in this area.

I have resumed my focus on coaching as a stock market mentor where I run a success guaranteed stock trading mentorship program

Additionally, you can now get access to what I consider to be the best stock options daily trade alert service.

Of course, I am biased and with a success rate fluctuating between 68.2% and 72.4% it is hard not to be biased.

If you do want to follow along with what I am doing every day you can get access to my daily stock market report

You can read the step-by-step Bollinger Band Trading Strategy Guide - this is my main active trading strategy

Until next time

happy trading

Phil has started this site with the intention of assisting like minded traders to progress their knowledge, experience & understanding of what sometimes is, a very complex/frustrating/mystifying business….there are many pitfalls & traps waiting out there to catch the unwary & unprepared. If this site goes some way to blowing away a few thick & heavy cobwebs, as well as shining a torchlight on a dark & treacherous road, then it will have succeeded in offering a direction to those determined to crack this profession as their chosen means of vocation. Trading isn’t easy, far from it….like any business, it requires a dogged determination….precise preparation…a strong mindset….clear & achievable goals…consistency & the ability to embrace change (flexibility). Professionals in all walks of life go thru a steep learning curve, one which tests the mental agility & discipline to the extreme. Trading will unleash quite severe demands on a persons psyche & their natural belief systems. Enter into this arena with an unclear mindset & woolly mental preparation, and you’re on your way down a very slippery slope! Many folks simply believe that throwing a couple grand at a spread account, reading one or two ‘technical analysis’ books & flipping thru the trading systems threads on a bulletin board or two will arm them with the necessary ammunition to begin pilfering profits from the markets on a regular basis…..talk of : “well, all I need to do is keep tight stops” “only trade with the trend” “pick a liquid market & go for 10-20 pips/points here & there”…….you see it all the time!! The learning curve doesn’t get any less steep the longer you’re on the treadmill, it remains constant. Regular & ongoing (personal) development is extremely necessary in order to stay ahead of the crowd. The more prepared a trader is in his chosen “field” the less likely he/she will encounter “surprises” along the way!! By prepared I mean confident that the trader has researched HIMSELF/HERSELF sufficiently, and has an appreciation of the mental demands which WILL be placed upon him/her. We’re all different with regards our psychological make up & it’s this which will ultimately govern our success or failure in this business….anyone can be taught to trade an instrument. We can be coached to spot chart patterns/support & resistance lines/channel busts/range breakouts etc….a coach can instruct in the finer points of risk/money management & trade maximisation. But what’s inside the HEAD is often fluffed over & sometimes even ignored completely. Begin to understand & strengthen this particular aspect of your armoury, and you will place yourself at a distinct advantage when it comes to constructing your trading methodology. Before rushing into constructing a plan of action & avidly engaging yourself in mountains of research materials, take a minute to assess & appraise your “inner” inventory!!…..the first port of call should be the trading psychology section of a good online bookstore (or that section of a bulletin board)….look at the review section & check out other traders comments etc… If you build your foundations from a solid base, you’ll find it much easier when you come to construct your “trading house”…………
